I am an avid outdoorsman active in all mountain sports and I am currently working on many projects including the renovation of my cabin, my old race bike and my dirt bike. Mike Wanless I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Colorado in 1995. I’ve spent the last 10+ years in new construction and remodeling in the local Denver area. My enthusiasm for building and thrive for customer satisfaction intrigued my interest to join Brickey Construction. I have been a builder, safety coordinator, and am now planning on transitioning to sales. I have 3 children, Wolfgang 15, Daisy 11, Poppy 2 years old. Some of my hobbies include: painting, hockey, and remodeling my home in Denver that I share with my wife Lucy.
Brian Jamieson Roofing is one of the final frontiers for my career in construction. I have been in almost every phase from ground, asphalt and concrete, framing, high end interior millwork, custom cabinetry, decks, fire mitigation, and now roofing. I enjoy my five children, four sons ranging from eighteen down to eleven, and my daughter whom is two. They are my life-force and motivation.
Joe Todor In 1978, my family started a home improvement company in Baton Rouge, LA. I started by installing windows and siding and helping with the family business. In 1993, I went to work for Sears doing in-home sales and for the last several years I have owned my own business doing decks, patio covers, basement remodels, and sun rooms. I carry a class “A” contractor’s license and feel that customer service is the key to making customers feel comfortable with any remodeling project. When I went to work for Brickey Construction it was an easy transition due to their support and customer service.
Marc Sandoval I am the father of 5 great children and the grandfather of 5 wonderful grandchildren. My name is Marc Sandoval, Project Manager with Brickey Construction, assisting the homeowner with insurance claims for full roof replacement. My other passions are participating in outdoor activities and working out daily. I spend my spare time in reading, watching my favorite teams play sports and spiritual meditation. My background was spent in a small town called Moline, Illinois. Today I live in Denver, CO. And my favorite saying is “How ‘bout dem COWBOYS”
Shane Knackstedt As a native from Colorado, it’s nice to work in the state I grew up in. Being that we work all across the Front Range I’ve had the pleasure of working in some areas that I grew up in and that my family and relatives live in. I have been working for five years as a professional roofing contractor for Brickey construction. I’m a first time father as of may 29 2008 when my son Ty was born. Some of my hobbies are playing softball and billiards. I also like doing all the fun mountain activities that are available in are Rocky Mountains. My overall goal is to hold the highest integrity while setting higher standards in the roofing industry.
Jesse Naylor I’ve spent most of my life in or around construction. Growing up in Albuquerque, I worked for my dad building custom homes in the Rio Grande Valley. Our specialty was southwestern style homes with stucco exteriors. After spending four years in the air force as a weather specialist, I returned to Albuquerque to work in the construction field as a part time professional balloon chaser. I started working for Brickey Construction in the roofing field in 2003. I have worked in virtually every municipality along the Front Range and with just about every type of roofing material there is available. I understand that purchasing a new roofing system for your number one investment can be a stressful and difficult decision. I will work hard to educate you on all the available roofing options so that at the end of the day you can feel satisfied that choosing Brickey Construction was the right decision.
Mike Giberti I was born in New York but have been in Colorado since 1990. I am now married with three children. I have a 22 year old son who is an Air Force Fire Fighter, a 19 year old daughter who is a school teacher, married, and a soon to be mom and 2 year old. I have been with Brickey Construction as a project coordinator since 2007.
Sam Newell I joined the Brickey Construction family in June of 2007 from the logistics industry. Originally from Batesville, IN I graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Industrial Technology. I traveled north to Chicago to work as a freight broker for 4 years. A Denver based trucking company brought my services to Colorado. I met Brickey Construction through a friend who is the sister of the owner. The last year and a half with Brickey Construction I have expanded my knowledge through training for ventilation, flat roofing, and assorted pitched roof product applications. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, and snow skiing. The future with Brickey Construction looks bright and I intend on gaining more knowledge in the years to come with some focus on alternate energy such as solar and wind power.
Dave Terry Hello, I have been with Brickey Construction for 3 years. I moved here Albuquerque, NM and love Colorado. I just had a beautiful baby girl named Peyton Raine and plan to marry in January. I have become a great roofer for Brickey due to their great training and friendships. I have used my Navy Seal experience to complete all my roofing tasks in a very efficient manner. Call me! I would love to meet you and install a great roof for you with a friendly experience.
Amy Alba I am originally from Michigan and moved to Colorado in 1996. I have spent the last 10+ years in new construction sales for home builders in the local Denver area. My passion for construction and customer service was easy transition to Brickey Construction. I enjoy meeting with the homeowners and understand what your needs are. I am married and live in Castle Rock. I enjoy golfing, running, and long hikes in our Colorado Mountains with my American Bulldog, Mya.
Brian Gonzales As a Colorado native, I am privileged to be a part of a company who understands and values the community in which it works. Brickey Construction has allowed me the opportunity to serve the greater Metro-Denver by providing quality service and customer support. As a project manager, I’m involved in working with home owners and in some cases, insurance companies in order to provide roofing services, gutters and siding. I’m proud to be supported by a company who has a prestigious record with the Better Business Bureau and a lasting presence in Colorado since 1972. Personally, I enjoy the outdoors and experiencing all the seasons that Colorado provides. I look forward to working with you in the future.
Bob Arkfeld Entering back into the roofing industry from a 30 year gap, I started out working in flat roofs with hot tar application in the early 70’s working my way through college. This experience turned into owning my own company for a few years specializing in roof repairs and applying asphalt shingles to homes. I also sold roofing supplies for a short time before entering into a successful coaching career at the high school and college level. Then moved into a successful career in Educational Administration all the time branching out into sales to get the business community involved in special programs. Created a marketing plan for commercial sales and has currently visited over 400 projects in the Denver area. I am very proud to belong to such a professional group that demonstrates a high degree of integrity and caring as do all of those at Brickey Construction.
Tiffany Pittman I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and received a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University in Bilingual of Education. I worked as an Activities Director at a guest ranch in southwestern Colorado for five years and spent seven years in Corporate America as a Communications/Public Relations Supervisor. I am now happily married. Some of my hobbies include: wakeboarding, snow skiing, fly fishing, hiking, travelling, reading and distance running. I currently work as the Brickey Construction Operations Manager.
Candice Butler Hello, my name is Candice and I recently moved from Houston, TX. I graduated this past December from Texas Tech with a degree in Advertising and afterwards took an internship with an ad agency in Houston. What I learned from the experience was I enjoyed the customer service side of advertising and not necessarily the sales side and I wanted to move to the mountains, and that is where fate would have it, I met up with Brickey Construction. I am now in charge of the customer relations division. My job is to keep our customers informed and satisfied with the services we are providing them. I absolutely love my job and can’t wait to speak with you in the future.

As a native of Colorado, there isn’t a better place to work and play. This business has afforded me the opportunity to work in areas that normally I wouldn’t experience. I have been one of the owners of Brickey for 5 years now and have enjoyed help leading us into the future by changing the way the industry is look at and leading by example with outstanding customer service. I have been a professional contractor for many years now not only here in Colorado with Brickey Construction but I have had the opportunity to live around our great nation. I have done work as a contractor and as an adjustor in the following states: Maryland, Illinois, Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Virginia, and of course my home state Colorado. My hobbies include motorcycle riding, camping, hiking, surfing, traveling, and watching sports. Thank you Derek Hendricks
Having grown up in the western slope (Grand Junction), I know Colorado will always be home. With my enthusiasm for the outdoors and the sports associated with it, my career focus was to have the availability to work outside and face one-on-one challenges. I enjoy applying my abilities toward helping people and achieving accomplishments. Since this move, I have been provided with six years of roofing experience that continues to grow daily. I believe the best product you can provide to someone is your word and to be able to stand behind it.
